Educational Requirements:
∎ Post-Graduation, majoring in Finance, Accounting, Statistics or quantitative related disciplines having no 3rd class/division in academic career
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Processing of regulatory and statutory banking returns/statements as well as to conduct stress-test to identify the balance sheet wise risk factors and to ensure proper use of management action trigger(s).
∎ Monitor the middle office functions of the respective Divisions in managing core risks and reporting the same to Chief Risk Officer (CRO).
∎ Preparation of the Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP) and to hold constructive dialogue with Bangladesh Bank on the issue.
∎ Well conversant regarding all regulatory aspects under BASEL-III regime.
∎ Risk reporting to the Board and Senior Management on the selective risk issues which has ultimate effects on profitability onward capital of the Bank.
∎ Risk assessment, which involves analyzing risks as well as identifying, describing and estimating the risks affecting the business.
∎ Provide user training for in-house developed systems.
∎ Ensuring risk mitigation program is effectively integrated into product development and delivery methodology.
∎ Developing, improving and monitoring major and critical risk issues and reporting the same to the senior management.
∎ Manage the implementation of all aspects of the risk function, including implementation of process, tools and system to identify, assess, measure, manage, monitor and report risks with bottom-line objective to build up sound risk management culture for the Bank.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Familiar with financial market operations, rules and regulations.
∎ Sound computer literacy.
∎ Ability to work under pressure.
∎ Good communication and presentation skills both in Bangla and preferably in English.
