Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor/ BBA preferably in Human Resource Management/ Business Studies or any other relevant field from any recognised university/ institution with all second class/ division or equivalent GPA/ CGPA in academic examinations.
∎ Candidates having PGD in HRM will get preference.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year(s)

Job Context:
∎ Human Resource Division (HRD) has been working with a goal to maximize job satisfaction, enhance transparency and ensure procedural justice for all employees. A large number of qualified, potential and committed staff is required to attain the organization’s goal and to operate these programs effectively.
∎ The Human Resource Officer is responsible for providing general day-to-day HR support to HR team and sectors/ units of HCMP. The position will be accountable for recruitment, handling new joining and on, leave and attendance

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Drive end to end recruitment & selection processes of the assigned sectors/ units based on short- and long-term hiring needs
∎ Receive and analyze staff requisitions by checking with budget and act accordingly
∎ Source candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline
∎ Ensure the reference checks and facilitate the offer process by extending the offer and negotiating employment terms
∎ Communicate with all sector/ unit focal, branch manager, and branch accounts regarding Deployment, Appointment/ contract letter issues.
∎ Ensure that job offers and appointment letters are issued to finally selected candidates
∎ Preserve all kinds of relevant documents of recruitment and personal file and ensure uploading it to relevant portals
∎ Stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Commitment to an understanding of BRAC core values and principles
∎ Have sound knowledge on Recruitment and Selection, Talent Management in emergency response, contemporary HR issues, Bangladesh labor law etc.
∎ Excellent skills in strategic communication, stakeholder management and negotiation
∎ Able to work under stress with minimum supervision
∎ Proficiency in Microsoft programs i.e. Excel, Word, and PowerPoint etc.
∎ Candidates having experience in the field of emergency response programme in similar role will be preferred.
