∎ Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, including advanced functions, data analysis, and dashboard creation.
∎ Sound knowledge of production planning principles, scheduling techniques, and material/resource planning.
∎ Familiarity with optimization techniques for capacity utilization and production efficiency.
∎ Basic understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
∎ Proficiency in ERP systems and planning software; experience in digital tools for planning is an advantage.
∎ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
∎ Effective communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional coordination.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop detailed production plans (daily, weekly, monthly) based on customer orders, sales forecasts, and inventory status.
∎ Prepare machine-wise production schedules considering product category, delivery deadlines, and machine capacity.
∎ Execute and monitor resource planning activities, ensuring efficient allocation of machines, manpower, and materials.
∎ Optimize machine utilization and minimize changeover time between different product categories.
∎ Monitor production progress; proactively adjust schedules to address delays, equipment failures, or material shortages.
∎ Review the feasibility of planning models and update them according to operational needs.
∎ Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, production, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless workflow and material availability.
∎ Coordinate with quality control to ensure that outputs meet required standards and compliance norms.
∎ Communicate regularly with the sales and customer service teams regarding order status, lead times, and delivery commitments.
∎ Track and analyze actual production vs. planned schedules; take corrective actions as necessary.
∎ Identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement through data analysis of production and planning activities.
∎ Maintain accurate records of production schedules, material usage, and inventory levels.
∎ Generate reports on planning performance, capacity utilization, machine changeovers, and process improvements.
∎ Support automation and digitalization initiatives to enhance the planning process.
