Excellent communication skills in English & Bangla.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Eager to learn international procurement processes and global sourcing strategies.
Responsibilities & Context:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Officer – Dyes & Chemical Procurement to join our dynamic Procurement & Development team. This position is ideal for a Fresh Chemical Engineer looking to build a career in global sourcing and procurement for the textile and apparel industry
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in sourcing dyes and chemicals from international suppliers.
- Support the import procurement process, including LC opening, shipment follow-up, and customs documentation.
- Conduct market research and supplier evaluation to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, price tracking, and supplier databases.
- Work closely with production, R&D, and quality assurance teams to ensure material compatibility.
- Ensure compliance with buyer standards, product safety, and environmental regulations.
- Assist in developing cost-saving strategies and building long-term supplier relationships.
