Responsibilities & Context:

1. Conduct time and motion studies, method studies, and work studies to identify inefficiencies and develop standardized best practices. 

2. Balance production lines to ensure smooth workflow and avoid idle time, monitoring and measuring line performance. 

3. Optimize the utilization of men, machines, and methods to increase output and reduce waste. 

4. Collect data on production, machine breakdown, and line performance to identify issues.  5. A

e factory capacity and production bottlenecks to find solutions for problems. 

6. Assess operator skills, identify training needs, and ensure the workforce understands and performs their roles effectively. 

7. Provide guidance and collaborate with floor supervisors for effective line layouts and method improvements. 

8. Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure machinery and attachments are available and in good working order. 

9. Check, record & necessary steps to reduce or eliminate nonproductive time (NPT).

10. Input, output & hourly production monitoring & ensuring proper data-keeping.

11. Plan & take necessary steps to reduce line WIP

12. Prepare a skill matrix & update after three months consecutively.

13. The process excellence method finds out & implements to enhance operator & line efficiency.

14. Set up & maintain 5S activities on the production floor.

15. Prepare a daily man-to-machine ratio report.
