∎ CMA / CA (CC) from a reputed CA firm will be given preference
∎ Skills Required: Accounts, Finance, Financial Reporting, Treasury, VAT and Tax
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Finance/ Accounts
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Share Brokerage/ Securities House, Banks
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensuring the accuracy of clients’ accounting on a timely manner as per financial and accounting rules & procedures
∎ Ensuring Exchanges and market intermediaries (local & Foreign) daily Fund Settlements within the deadline and proper accuracy level
∎ Ensuring daily finance and treasury operations of the Company, Employees’ Provident Funds
∎ Ensuring daily bank reconciliation and other operations related reconciliation
∎ Preparing the monthly management accounts and financial statements for the Company
∎ Prepare Company level, Branch and Product level profitability report and competitors analysis report
∎ Report on overall effectiveness of Internal Control, Risk Management and governance to Senior Management
∎ Ensuring all sort of Company level Tax and VAT related works as per National Board of Revenue, Bangladesh
∎ Ensuring Compliance with the Provisions applicable for the Company, Employees’ Provident Fund according to Income Tax Ordinance, 1984 and VAT & SD Act, 2012 and relevant rules
∎ Ensuring all sort of regulatory bodies reporting within the given deadline
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 26 years
∎ Basic understanding on Accounting principles, Internal & External Audit, Treasury management and TAX & VAT management
∎ Basic understanding on Bangladesh Capital Market, Money Market, Economic System
∎ Experience and practical knowledge on IFRS and IAS
∎ Practical experience and knowledge on the Companies Act, 1994, Income Tax Ordinance, 1984 and VAT & SD Act, 2012 and relevant rules
∎ Bangladesh Capital Markets regulatory related rules & regulations
∎ Candidate should be energetic, hardworking & enthusiastic with good interpersonal skills
∎ Capable enough to operate MS Excel, MS Word, MS Power Point at advance level in updated operating system
