Educational Requirements:
∎ BBA or B.Sc. in Engineering or Bachelor degree from any UGC approved university
Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintain appropriate professional liaison with BTRC, BTCL, Ministry of Telecommunications, relevant Govt. agencies and all other telecom operators
∎ Study regulatory policies, guidelines, and instructions to ensure compliance; communicate and coordinate with internal departments.
∎ Assist in preparing and filing different reports and returns for timely submission to regulators.
∎ Coordinate with officials of the BTRC to carry out regular activities.
∎ Apply to BTRC for new licenses processing, renewal of licenses, the permission of importing equipment (i.e.: Telecom and Radio with VSAT Equipment) and all other service-related issues
∎ Timely follow-up with BTRC for the issuance of approval as per requirement.
∎ Provide occasional support to the Business team members and act as a coordinator for the unit for the sole purpose of managing BTRC requirements.
∎ Identify critical regulatory issues, analyze them and take the proper remedy.
∎ Provide insight and advice to senior management on any adverse impact from the regulatory environment/ decision.
∎ Coordinate and work closely with the industry associations such as ISP Association, Wireless Internet Broadband Association, Satellite Hub Operators Forum, Satellite Services Providers Forum etc.
∎ Co-ordinate with the Technical, Corporate Secretariate, Finance & Accounts and SCM team for any clarification or information asked by BTRC.
∎ Participate and communicate with both external and internal parties to meet special BTRC requirements like system audit or any other special requirement as and when required
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ Basic understanding of Microsoft Office
∎ Basic knowledge & understanding of telecom regulatory acts and guidelines.
∎ Basic market knowledge of Telecom laws and practices
Salary: Negotiable
