Qualifications & Experience:

  • Age: 30 to 45 Years. Age limit might be considered for experienced applicant.

  • Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in finance, administration, and accounts management, preferably with NGOs/INGOs.

  • Strong knowledge of financial software, MS Excel, and accounting standards.

  • Experience in managing donor-funded projects (preferably UN agency, Ipas, IPPF , Sisa etc. or health-related projects).

  • Ability to coordinate with partners and maintain financial discipline.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.



Responsibilities & Context:

Job Context

The project “Health System Resiliency for Improved SRHR in Bangladesh” is designed to strengthen the health system in Chittagong by enhancing access to quality Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) services. Effective financial and administrative management is essential to ensure smooth implementation of project activities and compliance with donor and government requirements.

The Officer – Finance & Admin will be responsible for managing financial operations, administrative support, and logistics of the project office in Chittagong. The position requires maintaining financial discipline, ensuring proper documentation, and supporting day-to-day administrative and procurement functions. The incumbent will work closely with the Head Office to ensure timely financial reporting, budget monitoring, and compliance with organizational and donor policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage finance and administrative functions of the project office in Chittagong.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of vouchers, ledgers, cash books, and financial reports.
  • Coordinate and maintain financial records of partner organization and ensure compliance with donor and organizational guidelines.
  • Support the Manager – Finance & Admin at Head Office in consolidating project accounts.
  • Monitor project budgets, prepare expenditure forecasts, and ensure proper utilization of funds.
  • Maintain records of staff attendance, leave, recruitment, and personnel files.
  • Manage office logistics, procurement, and inventory in line with policies.
  • Ensure statutory compliance, audits, and reporting to donor () and government bodies.
  • Provide necessary administrative and logistical support for training, workshops, and meetings.
