Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure data accuracy by cross-checking MIS data, resolving errors, and supporting field staff during reporting periods
∎ Compile and manage field-level data, providing technical support for MIS software and data migration processes
∎ Train field staff on data management, software operations, and digitisation to enhance accuracy and security
∎ Conduct field visits to identify and address gaps in data management, reporting, and security practices
∎ Manage technology tools and devices to improve the productivity of SELP’s front-line staff
∎ Assist the Deputy Manager, MIS, in preparing data analyses and reports
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
∎ Job Purpose: The Officer, Data Quality and ICT will play a key role to ensure data quality and integrity by troubleshooting issues, implementing necessary updates, and optimising database performance of the SELP MIS Software related data. The role also includes providing support to programme staff and managing databases to organise and maintain data effectively, ensuring regular updates and proper maintenance.
