Education: The candidate should have Graduation/ Post Graduation degree in Statistics/Biostatistics/Bioinformatics/ Data Science or any relevant subject with minimum 2nd division/class or equivalent GPA/CGPA in all academic examinations from any recognized institution. Responsibilities & Context:

• Collect, validate, and maintain performance, pedigree, and genomic data of livestock (growth, reproduction, milk yield, disease resistance, survivability, etc.)

• Develop and manage databases for breeding and genetic evaluation

• Conduct statistical and genetic analyses to assess productivity, reproductive efficiency, and genetic gain

• Support development of selection indices and breeding value estimation

• Analyze socioeconomic and field-level adoption data related to breed development programs

• Assist in designing and implementing field trials, breeding experiments, and performance recording systems

• Conduct quantitative and qualitative data analysis to evaluate breeding strategies

• Prepare data-driven recommendations for breed improvement and conservation programs

• Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations for program monitoring and decision-making

• Provide regular analytical updates to the supervisor and higher management

• Contribute to project reports, scientific publications, and presentations.

• Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment

• Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action

• Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
