Collect, validate, and maintain performance, pedigree, and genomic data of livestock (growth, reproduction, milk yield, disease resistance, survivability, etc.)
Develop and manage databases for breeding and genetic evaluation
Conduct statistical and genetic analyses to assess productivity, reproductive efficiency, and genetic gain
Support development of selection indices and breeding value estimation
Analyze socioeconomic and field-level adoption data related to breed development programs
Assist in designing and implementing field trials, breeding experiments, and performance recording systems
Conduct quantitative and qualitative data analysis to evaluate breeding strategies
Prepare data-driven recommendations for breed improvement and conservation programs
Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations for program monitoring and decision-making
Provide regular analytical updates to the supervisor and higher management
Contribute to project reports, scientific publications, and presentations.
Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
