Education:

The candidate must hold a BSc in Fisheries with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 or the equivalent of a second class / division, or comparable academic standing in all examinations from a recognized university

Responsibilities & Context:
  • Assist Hatchery Manager to prepare the annual production plan and budget

  • Prepare action plan to produce fish spawn/fry and other products as per annual production plan 

  • Ensure the preparatory works like pond preparation, brood stocking and rearing, hatchery disinfection, material acquisition etc are accomplished timely and appropriately  

  • Confirm the breeding, feeding and other production processes are executed as per Standard Operating Procedure to maintain the desired quality and efficiency 

  • Maintain and update all production registers and other documents as per official requirements 

  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment

  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so

  • Perform any other jobs as assigned by the management
