Responsibilities & Context:
Conducting research on current fashion trends, consumer preferences, and market demand
To improve themes, moods according to the silk yarn nature and available facilities have to work with silk weaving centers
Sketching designs, creating mood boards, and selecting fabrics, patterns, and colors to be used in production
Ensure the design of Silk saree, dupatta, scarf and fabrics based on nature and characteristics of different types of silk yarn
To visit others silk production centers for idea generating
Make proper sample based on brands perception, costing guidelines and ensure delivery of the samples maintaining the standard procedure
Overseeing the production process, ensuring that designs are produced on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
Monitor sales status to ensure future needs and demands of the customers
Contribute to yearly design planning by making relevant themes, mood boards, storyboards, color charts and presentations
Networking with Aarong Design Dept, BRAC Silk production centers, other silk producers and silk entrepreneurs
Prepare different report and presentation as per management requirement
Maintain the liaison and communication with BDP office and Sericulture Enterprise management
Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
Perform any other jobs as assigned by the management
