Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Role: The Officer - Accountability is based within the MEAL team in the Program Development and Quality (PDQ) Department in Dhaka. S/he will primarily be responsible to manage the Toll-free Hotline and maintaining the accountability database across the country programs. This position works with the other members of the Accountability and MEAL team to ensure that Save the Children's Feedback and Reporting Mechanism (FRM) especially the Toll-free Hotline is functioning and accessible to all.
∎ This role performs the following key functions:
∎ Receive feedback and complaint from beneficiaries through Toll-free Hotline
∎ Continues to support the process of converting an existing Excel-based Accountability database into an online database;
∎ Provides Accountability/FRM inputs to Awards reports and internal reporting including Monthly and Quarterly Accountability Report;
∎ Supports the Deputy-Manager Accountability to work with program teams on raising awareness of our feedback and complaints mechanisms
∎ Provides Accountability/FRM inputs to Program KPI and compile KPI reports input
Additional Requirements:
∎ Must be fluent in Chittagonian/ Chatgaya language and Cox's Bazar local dialect (need to converse with Rohingya Population)
∎ At least 3 years' experience of working in NGOs, preferably in Accountability, Community Mobilisation, Monitoring and Evaluation or relevant areas. Require good qualitative research knowledge and experiences.
∎ Strong analytical skill on monitoring data - both qualitative and quantitative, and experienced in participatory monitoring and evaluation processes
∎ Good understanding on Core Humanitarian Standard on Quality and Accountability (CHS)
∎ Excellent in team work and networking
∎ Good written and verbal communication skills both in English and Bangla
∎ Good report writing skills (in English & Bangla), particularly quality analytical reports
∎ Hands-on computer (MS Office, especially MS excel) operating skills and internet using
