Experience:
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Information Technology (IT), Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering (ETE), Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE), or a related discipline.
CCNA, MTCNA, CCNP, MTCRE, or other networking certifications will be considered an added advantage.
Experience Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in an ISP Network Operations Center (NOC) or a similar networking environment.
Additional Requirements
Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus and MikroTik routers and switches.
Practical knowledge of Core Network, Access Network, Upstream Management, and Bandwidth Management.
Experience configuring and troubleshooting GPON/EPON OLT devices.
Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work in rotational shifts and under pressure.

Job Context
Aalok IT Limited, a well-established nationwide Internet Service Provider (ISP), is looking for experienced and dedicated NOC Engineers to join its Network Operations Center (NOC) team. The selected candidates will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting the company's network infrastructure to ensure uninterrupted service and high network performance.
Job Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain Core, Distribution, and Access Network infrastructure.
Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco Nexus and MikroTik devices.
Monitor upstream connectivity and optimize bandwidth utilization.
Diagnose and resolve network outages and performance issues.
Configure and troubleshoot GPON/EPON OLT equipment from leading vendors.
Ensure network availability and maintain Quality of Service (QoS).
Coordinate with field support and other technical teams to resolve network incidents.
Monitor network performance using NMS tools and prepare daily technical reports.
Escalate critical issues and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Participate in scheduled maintenance and emergency network support.
