Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc / M.Sc in any discipline, from any recognized university
∎ Training/Trade Course: Certification on networking would be added advantage
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Designing and implementing new network solutions, and improving the efficiency of current networks
∎ Installing and configuring network equipment including but not limited to routers, switches, firewalls for network operation, efficiency and security
∎ Performing network maintenance and update by applying service packs, patches and security fixes
∎ Monitoring network resource utilization and performance; and ensuring 24x7 service availability
∎ Preparing various reports to analyze the network performance
∎ Investigating and troubleshooting network issues and finding solutions within SLA
∎ Assisting with all ad hoc projects as required
∎ Preparing and maintaining proper documentation of related work area
∎ Communicating with vendors/stakeholders
∎ Providing support for the day to day IT operations
Additional Requirements:
∎ Candidates with experience in Capital Market (DSE, CSE, CDBL) network management and maintenance will have added advantage
∎ In depth knowledge on LAN/WAN design and implementation using enterprise routers, switches and firewalls
∎ Good knowledge of routing (interior and exterior), switching and security protocols
∎ Must be technically skilled in diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving hardware and network problems
∎ Ability to work under dynamic environment and manage aggressive timelines
∎ Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
∎ Ability to work in a team
∎ Ability to follow processes
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skill
