∎ Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ SHASTO Project is looking for qualified Bangladeshi national to provide the following Service:-
∎ A. Output 1 (should be fulfilled at the end of Project ends): Integrated NCDs (Cardiovascular diseases (CVD) and Diabetes Mellitus (DM)) and Maternal Health (MH) services are delivered in the pilot sites.
∎ Conduct situation analysis on NCDs services including service guideline, protocol and training manual.(done)
∎ Conduct situation analysis on NCDs related MH services including service guideline, protocol and training manual. (done)
∎ Conduct facility (CC, UZHC, DH and Urban Dispensary: UD) assessment on NCD service delivery in the pilot sites. (done)
∎ Develop pilot NCD intervention guideline, protocol and training manual
∎ Implement the pilot NCD training in the pilot sites.
∎ Try out the pilot NCD interventions in the pilot sites (CCs: NCD screening, UZHC/DH/UD: NCD screening & management).
∎ Monitor the pilot NCD interventions in the pilot sites.
∎ Revise the pilot NCD interventions based on the experiences of pilot activities.
∎ Finalize the NCD intervention guideline and protocol to be expanded in other areas.
∎ Standardize the NCD intervention guideline and protocol to be provided throughout the country.
∎ Support the expansion of standardized NCD intervention in collaboration with partners.
∎ B. Consultant:
∎ To prepare and coordinate for all activities
∎ To facilitated communication and build successful relationship between expert of the Project, counterparts, development partners, other stakeholders and other project staffs for management of Output 1
∎ To promote smooth implementation of the Project by providing technical assistant based on the professional practices and on-site experiences of Output 1
∎ C. Services to be provided:
∎ Supporting for preparation of the project document and preparation for the Joint Coordination Committee Meeting
∎ Supporting and assisting for the meetings and conferences related to Project activities
∎ Participating the meetings and conferences related NCD
∎ Reporting the result of the meetings and conferences
∎ Formulate suggestions and recommendations to guide necessary actions to be taken for enhancing Project activities of Output 1
∎ Supporting and provide technical assistance to DGHS and LD-NCDC office to implement their Operational Plan (in particular, related to NCD management model implementation), and other organization (such as donors, NGOs etc.)
∎ Provide technical assistant and coordination with related counterparts to develop advocacy/social mobilization tools
∎ Supporting for collection of the data for PDM indicators and any necessary information
∎ Supporting for management of Output 1 activities of area office
∎ Reporting to Japanese Experts daily about the SHASTO activities on NCD through mail or other medium during absence of the Experts under COVID19 travel restriction
∎ Output 1:
∎ Develop pilot NCD intervention guideline, protocol and training manual
∎ Implement the pilot NCD training in the pilot sites.
∎ Try out the pilot NCD interventions in the pilot sites (CCs: NCD screening, UZHC/DH/UD: NCD screening & management).

Additional Requirements:
∎ Must have an experience in the Government Job (Preferable Retired MOHFW official)
∎ Medical Doctor with Extensive experiences in the field NCDs and Community Health
