Experience:
Bachelor/Master in relevant subject from any reputed institution.
Experience
At least 2-3 years of experience in community development, women’s empowerment, or facilitation roles.
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO/Development Sector.

Strong facilitation and communication skills.

Based at the MPWC, with possible field visits to engage the broader community.

Good analytical writing/report writing skill.
Good communication skills and command in MS word, Excel and power point.

Good command of Chitagonian and Bangla. English language skills are an asset.

Responsibilities & Context
Starting date of Job: December -2024•
Reporting to: Program Manager.
Job Purpose:
To manage daily activities and programs at the MPWC, fostering a safe and inclusive space for women and girls. The facilitator works to address their psychosocial, health, and vocational needs while promoting gender equality and community engagement.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Program Implementation:
Facilitate daily activities and programs, including:
Basic literacy/Pre vocational /Vocational /Skills training (e.g., sewing machine operation, handicrafts, cooking, stock rearing).
Awareness sessions (e.g., health, hygiene, GBV prevention).
Psychosocial and healing activities.
Coordinate with trainers, community members, and service providers to ensure program relevance and effectiveness.
Encourage participation by building trust and fostering inclusivity, particularly for vulnerable groups.
Community Engagement:
Act as a bridge between women in the community and the center’s services.
Identify and engage with local leaders, stakeholders, and partner organizations to strengthen support networks.
Organize outreach campaigns to promote awareness about the center and its activities.
Monitoring and Reporting:
Maintain records of participants, attendance, and feedback from activities.
Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports detailing the progress of programs and challenges faced.
Collect and document success stories and lessons learned.
Safeguarding and Protection:
Ensure the MPWC is a safe space where confidentiality, respect, and ethical standards are upheld.
Identify and report cases of gender-based violence (GBV) or abuse and refer them to appropriate services.
Comply with organizational safeguarding policies and procedures.
Reporting and attending different meetings:
Prepare weekly activities report to submit to the line manager.
Participate in a proactive way in different meetings.
Location: Ukhia/Teknaf at Coxs bazar district (Vehicle support will be provided from Coxs bazar office)
