Project Background
RW Welfare Society (RWWS), in partnership with UN Women, is implementing a women-focused livelihood and leadership development project aimed at enhancing socio-economic recovery and resilience among Rohingya and host community women. The project focuses on equipping women and young women with practical livelihood skills, leadership capacities, and entrepreneurial knowledge to enable dignified, sustainable income generation and active participation in community and economic decision-making.
Many women in the Host and Rohingya communities have a strong interest and potential to engage in pastry and bakery-related income-generating activities, but they face barriers such as a lack of technical skills, limited access to structured training, and financial constraints. Through structured pre-vocational and vocational training, RWWS seeks to address these gaps by providing hands-on, market-relevant bakery and pastry training aligned with national competency standards.
Project Outcomes
Improved socio-economic stability of displaced and host community women through enhanced learning and livelihood capacities.
Strengthened leadership, self-reliance, and decision-making capacity of women and young women, contributing to economic recovery and social cohesion.

The primary objective of this position is to equip women participants with hands-on vocational and pre-vocational skills in Pastry & Bakery production. The trainer will deliver practical instruction on baking techniques, food safety and hygiene, pricing strategies, small business management, industrial oven operation, and sales and marketing approaches. The training will strengthen participants’ entrepreneurial capacity, enabling them to initiate or engage in bakery-related income-generating activities, either individually or through small enterprises.

And, deliver pre-vocational Pastry & Bakery training for about one month (120 hours), following concise and appropriate government-endorsed modules from relevant departments such as the Department of Women Affairs, Department of Youth Development, or the LSDS (Livelihoods and Skills Development Sector) under the ISCG.

Develop and update training materials, session plans, and practical exercises in line with project objectives.
Prepare session-wise material and ingredient requirements and coordinate with project staff for timely provision.
