Major Responsibilities: S/He will be responsible for field mobilization, session conduct, rapport building in the community, advocacy with the school authority, facilitating a youth club, and working on capacity building

Specific Job Responsibilities:

• Assess the needs and prepare community WASH interventions by coordinating with other team members and concerned stakeholders.

• Assess the needs of the community to ensure that the WASH component of the project activity is delivered with maximum efficiency.

• Work closely under the direct supervision of the PM to assist the consultant in designing WASH materials, document outputs, and disseminate.

• Conduct session and provide ToT on WASH to relevant stakeholders, changemakers

• Identify the intervention locations through a needs assessment.

• Ensure the maintenance of healthy partnerships with relevant government counterparts and the community in the management of WASH-related interventions.

• Assist the PM in meeting the donor obligation as a supporting body.

• Produce and maintain records of the beneficiaries as a member of the team, work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure community mobilization and referral

• Sensitize and mobilize the community about the project & participate in the project activity

• Contribute to the preparation of internal and external reports for the organization and donors, including situation reports (SitReps)

• Disseminate the project brief and lessons to all relevant stakeholders.

• Represent the organization externally.

• Oversee and manage the WASH activities in the community.

• Coordinate and mobilize community user groups, including the formation of effective WASH committees.

• Assist to develop & implement training program, including the training schedule and module.

• Reporting to the project manager on ongoing intervention as per the exact requirement.
