Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering / Textile Chemistry / Polymer Science or related field.
Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1–2 years of relevant experience in dyeing or R&D.
Basic knowledge of textile dyeing processes and color science.
Understanding of lab dyeing equipment and testing methods.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good documentation and reporting abilities.
Proficiency in MS Excel and basic lab software.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Job Context:
AKH Knitting & Dyeing Ltd. Is a 100% knit composite factory. We are looking few MTO for the dyeing- R&D. The Management Trainee Officer (MTO) – R&D Dyeing is responsible for supporting research, development, and process optimization activities in textile dyeing. The role focuses on developing new dyeing processes, improving color quality and consistency, reducing cost and environmental impact, and assisting in scale-up from lab to bulk production.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in R&D activities related to dyeing of fabrics/yarns using different dye classes (reactive, disperse, vat, sulfur, acid, etc.).
Conduct laboratory dyeing trials, shade matching, and recipe development.
Analyze dyeing results for color accuracy, fastness properties, and reproducibility.
Support bulk trial planning and execution based on lab-developed recipes.
Monitor dyeing parameters such as temperature, pH, time, liquor ratio, and chemical usage.
Document experimental data, test results, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Assist in troubleshooting dyeing issues related to shade variation, unevenness, and fastness failures.
Coordinate with production, quality, and merchandising teams for new developments.
Support sustainability initiatives by working on water, chemical, and energy optimization.
Keep up to date with new dyes, chemicals, and dyeing technologies.
Follow safety, health, and environmental (SHE) guidelines in all R&D activities.
