• Age 22 to 27 years

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Textile Engineering, or related field

• Fresh graduate or 0–1 year experience in garment manufacturing (preferred)

• Basic knowledge of garment manufacturing processes

• Understanding of SMV, line balancing, and productivity concepts

• Strong analytical and numerical skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Willingness to work on the production floor

Job Context:

AKH Knitting & Dyeing Ltd. Is a 100% knit composite factory and it’s a sister concern of AKH Group. We are looking few MTO for the Garments – IE. The Management Trainee Officer – Garments IE supports the Industrial Engineering team in improving productivity, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness of garment manufacturing operations. The role focuses on work study, line balancing, method improvement, and production analysis while developing future IE leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct time and motion studies to establish Standard Minute Values (SMV)

• Analyze work methods and suggest improvements to reduce cycle time

• Assist in operation breakdown and method engineering

• Support layout planning for sewing lines and workstations

• Assist in line balancing to achieve target output and efficiency

• Monitor daily line performance (output, efficiency, absenteeism)

• Identify bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions

• Support capacity planning and manpower allocation

• Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Planning teams

• Support pilot runs and style changeovers

• Monitor achievement of production targets

• Assist in improving operator performance through method training

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly IE reports

• Analyze efficiency, productivity, and variance data

• Maintain IE databases (SMV, manpower, capacity)

• Participate in Kaizen, Lean, and 5S activities

• Support cost reduction and waste elimination initiatives

• Assist in implementation of best IE practices

• Learn end-to-end garment manufacturing processes

• Develop leadership and problem-solving skills

• Take on assigned IE improvement projects
