Responsibilities & Context:

• Ensure effective implementation of quality standards throughout product development, sourcing, production, finishing, and shipment processes.

• Handle customer quality requirements for all accounts and ensure compliance with buyer-specific quality standards.

• Act as the focal point for Tesco quality management requirements, technical compliance, audit preparation, corrective actions, and customer communication.

• Coordinate and facilitate customer audits, technical assessments, factory evaluations, and compliance inspections.

• Monitor audit findings and ensure timely closure of Corrective and Preventive Action Plans (CAPA).

• Conduct internal audits and management review meetings to evaluate QMS effectiveness.

• Analyze quality performance data, identify root causes of recurring issues, and implement sustainable improvement initiatives.

• Drive quality improvement projects to reduce defects, rework, customer complaints, and shipment risks.

• Monitor factory quality KPIs and prepare management reports, dashboards, and customer performance summaries.

• Ensure compliance with product safety requirements, testing protocols, restricted substance requirements, and customer technical standards.

• Collaborate with QA, QC, Production, Merchandising, Technical, Industrial Engineering, and Compliance teams to achieve quality objectives.

• Lead customer complaint investigations and implement effective corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

• Conduct risk assessments and quality risk mitigation programs across manufacturing processes.

• Ensure proper documentation control and record retention as per customer and certification requirements.

• Facilitate training programs on quality systems, customer requirements, audit readiness, product safety, and continuous improvement.

• Support implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001 and other applicable quality management certifications.

• Work closely with merchandising and customer representatives regarding quality performance and improvement plans.

• Develop and maintain factory quality scorecards and customer compliance status reports.

• Lead quality culture development initiatives across all factory functions.
