• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering / Industrial Engineering / Apparel Manufacturing

• Master’s degree is a plus

• Strong knowledge of textile manufacturing (Knitting, Dyeing, Garments)

• Strong communication and reporting skills

• Knowledge of fabric quality, color fastness, shrinkage, GSM, etc.

Job Context :

AKH knitting & Dyeing Ltd. is a knit composite factory - we are looking for a experienced- QMS Manager who is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality Management System across garments, knitting, and dyeing operations. This role ensures product quality, compliance with international standards, and continuous process improvement to meet customer and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain QMS aligned with standards such as ISO 9001

• Ensure all departments (knitting, dyeing, garments) follow documented procedures and SOPs

• Lead QMS certification and surveillance audits

• Monitor quality at all stages: raw materials, knitting, dyeing, finishing, and garment production

• Establish quality checkpoints and inspection criteria

• Analyze defects and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)

• Prepare for and manage internal and external audits (buyers, third-party, certification bodies)

• Ensure compliance with buyer requirements and international standards

• Maintain proper documentation and audit records

• Lead initiatives such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen to improve efficiency and reduce waste

• Identify root causes of quality issues and implement sustainable solutions

• Track KPIs related to quality performance

• Lead and mentor quality teams across knitting, dyeing, and garments units

• Conduct training programs on quality standards, SOPs, and best practices

• Promote a quality-focused culture across the organization

• Handle customer complaints and ensure timely resolution

• Work closely with suppliers to ensure raw material quality

• Maintain strong communication with buyers regarding quality requirements
