Experience:
Honours / Masters in any discipline from a reputed educational institute
B.Sc. in Textile Engineering / Industrial & Production Engineering / Apparel Manufacturing
Diploma in Textile or Garments Technology
Good communication skills in English and Bangla
Ability to work as a team leader and do multiple tasks simultaneously
Should have experience in shade separation, shade integrity and shrinkage
Candidate having exposure to Lean Manufacturing will be given preference
Should have knowledge regards to production efficiency, manpower utilization and IE.

AKH Knitting & Dyeing Ltd. is a knit composite 100% export-oriented factory. We are looking few garments IE Executive / Sr. Executive who is responsible in the knit garments industry for improving production efficiency, reducing waste, balancing manpower, and ensuring smooth workflow in garment manufacturing. The role is especially important in knit factories because production speed, SMV control, and line balancing directly affect profitability and delivery timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor sewing line efficiency and productivity.
Analyze production targets versus actual output.
Identify bottlenecks and suggest improvements.
Implement productivity improvement techniques.
Conduct time and motion studies.
Calculate garment SMV for different operations/styles.
Update operation bulletins and work aids.
Balance sewing lines according to operator capacity and operation breakdown.
Minimize idle time and WIP (Work in Progress).
Rearrange manpower when needed for smoother production flow.
Prepare capacity reports for production planning.
Estimate manpower and machine requirements.
Support production planning and shipment schedules.
Prepare operation bulletin for each style.
Define machine types and operator skill requirements.
Assist production teams during style changeover.
Improve sewing methods and workstation layouts.
Reduce unnecessary motions and handling time.
Implement lean manufacturing tools where applicable.
Prepare daily efficiency and performance reports.
Analyze DHU (Defects per Hundred Units), absenteeism, and downtime.
Maintain IE-related documentation and records.
Help train operators on best working methods.
Guide supervisors regarding productivity improvements.
Strong knowledge of knit garment production processes
