Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor/Masters in Statistics, Social Sciences, Economics, Geography, Environmental Science, Disaster Management or equivalent degree with at least 3 years' relevant working experience in any National/International NGO.
Job Context:
∎ Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) invites applications for the following positions of SHOUHARDO III Plus Program , in partnership with CARE Bangladesh and funding support of USAID. The goal of the project is to "Improve gender equitable food security, nutrition and resilience of vulnerable people living in the char and haor in Bangladesh by 2024. DAM will implement the SHOUHARDO III plus program in Sunamganj ( Taherpur & Dowarabazar Upazillas) and Hobiganj ( Baniachong & Ajmiriganj Upazillas) district supported by CARE Bangladesh from November 2022 to July 2024.
∎ Monitoring & Evaluation Officer (SHOIII Plus)
∎ Employment Status: Contractual Initial contract up to July 31, 2024
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible to design MEL plan, tools/methodology and indictor tracking mechanism
∎ Responsible to lead monitoring and evaluation related activities of the program; provide technical assistance to the project team; collect monitoring data and process the data, coordination & collaboration with line stakeholders, process documentation.
∎ Ensure incorporation of Agriculture and Livelihoods issues are incorporated in the monitoring tools, and prepare the tools in a way to track and monitor the project through the lens environmental mitigation and management plan (EMMP) and Climate Risk Management Plan (CRM), as per the donor and GoB rules and policies
∎ Implement integrated automated information management system
∎ Set up of an efficient Complaint Feedback and Response Mechanism (CFRM), Collect feedback and complaint forms from field and enter into Feedback and Complaint Database (weekly).
∎ Any other tasks assigned by supervisor/ management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Preference will be given to the candidates having prior working experience in Agriculture & Livelihoods and Nutrition components.
∎ Good knowledge on Gender , Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse(PSEA) & Safe Guarding policy
∎ Good understanding on ICT and web based online automated information management system including ability to manage M&E/MIS database, including template design, data entry, cleaning, logical checks of monitoring data using MS-Excel, MS-Access, in addition working knowledge on SPSS will be an added advantage.
Salary: Negotiable
