Job Responsibilities:
∎ Overall purposes of the role: The MEAL Coordinator will be a part of the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) team, which monitors and advises on the quality of DCA's Programmes for Rohingya Refugees and host communities. MEAL works closely with DCA's Programme teams to ensure that we are accountable for the work we do and deliver quality programmes appropriate to the needs of the people we aim to support.
∎ S/he will serve as a focal point and liaison for implementing MEAL systems and processes, carrying out monitoring activities and preparing reports, and systematically integrating accountability and learning into the programme management cycle to inform programme development and improvement. S/he will also conduct field visits and provide technical support to DCA's partner organisations to strengthen their MEAL systems.
Additional Requirements:
∎ A minimum of four years of professional experience in monitoring and evaluation, preferably with INGOs.
∎ Experience in Open Data Kit (ODK)/Kobo software and other data collection software.
∎ Strong skills in excel and other data management software.
∎ Demonstrated ability in community mobilisation and community-level dialogue.
∎ Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative analysis.
∎ Strong interpersonal skills.
∎ Self-motivation, creativity and an ability to perform without close supervision.
∎ Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
∎ Knowledge of Chittagonian is an advantage.
