• Masters’ degree from any reputed university

• Age At most 45 years

• At least 3 years’ experience in implementing project of similar nature

• Willing to work in team and able to manage diversified staffs and supervision skill

• Adequate computer (Ms word, Excel, PowerPoint) and IT skills

• Language skills in both Bangla and English

• Ability to work under pressure

• Knowledge of IGA related activities and climate change issues

• Possess excellent interpersonal communication skill

• Knowledge and experience on general administration, project and financial management

• Prepare periodic reports and documentation

• Ability to drive motorcycle and should have valid driving license

• Willing to visit field frequently

Agrogoti Sangstha is looking for a dynamic Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) officer for its’ livelihood project titled ‘Promoting resilience in households and communities vulnerable to climate change in Satkhira’ supported by Federal Ministry for Economic (Germany) Affairs and Climate Action through GIZ .

About the Project: Agrogoti Sangstha is going to implement the Climate Adaptive livelihood and Climate Smart Agriculture focused project in coastal area at Satkhira District especially Shymnagor, Kaligonj and Assasuni upazila. The Project will support 720 Climate vulnerable families especially women and the families will be capacities by receiving different types of capacity building training and developing BDP and FDP in individual level.

Side by side, the project will be formed 36 village groups and engaged the youth participants in the project activity for building climate resilient community.

The details eligibility and requirement of the position is as mentioned below;

Responsibilities:

• Monitor the implementation of climate smart Agriculture practise
• Participate to purchase the IGA for project participants
• Develop the different types of activity monitoring tools and quality benchmark tool
• Regular visits to village groups and secondary schools
• Physically present of training activities for the target group
• Coordination of dialogue meetings between civil society and authorities
• Coordination of climate-resilient livelihood opportunities
• Communication with local authorities and service providers
• Management, supervise, monitoring and evaluation of programme staffs and their activities
• Ensuring pandemic-related protective measures at meetings.
• Prepare reports and other documents as and when required
• Manage and maintained the group member database, Asset distribution database and saving management database.

• Gross Salary: 250 Euro (Approximately BDT 36000 per month) and other as per organization policy
