- Excellent written and verbal communication in both Bangla and English.
- IT proficiency-advanced-level skill is a MUST in MS Office package (specifically, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- Should be proactive and dynamic, with the ability to work hard efficiently. Ability to multitask and remain organized and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities & Context:
Buyer Communication & Order Management
- Maintain effective communication with buyers regarding inquiries, orders, product development, and approvals.
- Interpret buyer requirements and ensure accurate translation into production plans.
- Manage the full order cycle — from receiving purchase orders to final shipment.
Product Development & Sampling
- Coordinate with design and technical teams to develop samples as per buyer specifications.
- Ensure timely submission of development, pre-production, and production samples for approval.
- Monitor changes and amendments in buyer requirements during the development stage.
Costing & Negotiation
- Prepare accurate cost sheets and price quotations based on buyer requirements.
- Negotiate prices, lead times, and payment terms with buyers and suppliers.
- Control costs while ensuring quality and timely delivery.
Production Coordination
- Work closely with the production team to ensure smooth execution of orders.
- Monitor production progress and ensure compliance with quality, quantity, and lead time requirements.
- Identify and resolve production bottlenecks proactively.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Liaise with the quality team to ensure product quality meets buyer standards.
- Follow up on inspections and testing requirements.
- Ensure compliance with buyer, factory, and industry regulations.
Supply Chain & Material Sourcing
- Source fabrics, trims, and accessories from approved suppliers.
- Monitor material status to avoid production delays.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers.
Documentation & Shipment
- Oversee order documentation, including purchase orders, invoices, packing lists, and shipping documents.
- Ensure on-time shipment and smooth logistics coordination.
- Maintain accurate order tracking records.
Market & Trend Awareness
- Keep updated on fashion trends, market demands, and competitor activities.
- Suggest new product ideas and innovations to meet buyer expectations.
