∎ Minimum Bachelor's Degree from any reputed university.
∎ Technical qualification on Textile/ Fashion Design will be an added advantage.
∎ Skills Required: Email Communications, Merchandising, MS Excel, MS Word
Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 6 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Buying House, Garments
Job Responsibilities:
∎ This position is that of Merchandiser (Woven) and the incumbent is responsible for overall activities and outcome of an assigned segment of business account with absolute integrity and honesty:
∎ Costing and confirmation of price, placement of orders, etc of all Woven product.
∎ Must have very good knowledge of garments (Woven).
∎ Must have understanding of fabric terms (Knowledge of all type of particularly Woven fabrics).
∎ Should have adequate knowledge of Woven washing techniques.
∎ Should have merchandising knowledge on Woven and various Woven washes along with costing.
∎ Assignment of jobs and monitoring the activities (team members, if any).
∎ Monitor production and ensures time schedule and quality of garments.
∎ Monitor opening of BTB- LC's (by the factory) and processing of shipping documents; follow-up with Forwarder, Shipping Agent, liaison with Bank etc.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Very good communication skills both spoken and written in English and Bangla.
∎ Should be able to work on own initiative under pressure.
Salary: Negotiable
