Job Context:
∎ Jennyfer Sourcing Ltd, leading French retailer for Young Ladies Fashion is looking for a Merchandiser (Sweater) for its Dhaka Liaison Office.
∎ Graduate in Apparel Merchandising, Textile Technology or equivalent from a well reputed institution.
∎ At least 5-6 years merchandising experience in a reputed buying office and factory in Sweater.
∎ Open, competent, and confident appearance and strong communication skills.
∎ Fluent English (spoken and written) as well as IT proficiency - advance level skill is a MUST in MS Office package (Especially, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook)
∎ Should be proactive and dynamic, ability to work under stress.
∎ Females are preferable.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ To deal with the HO team independently for all the development, order placement & production follow up.
∎ Must have extensive experience of product development, sourcing of materials, costing, production tracking and order execution.
∎ To act as a bridge among all concerned parties with a view to ensuring timely execution and on time shipment of order.
∎ Ensure correct and on time submission of all samples and developments (garment, yarn, accessories, trims, embroidery, y/d, washing and all kinds of embellishments) with coordinated efforts among concerned production units and suppliers.
∎ Coordinate between factory production, raw material sourcing, planning, material utilization team & other relevant teams for smooth production.
∎ Ensure smooth communications with HO buyer's and suppliers on day-to-day merchandising activities and T&A follow-up.
∎ Close follow-up of orders & production and addressing the problems also involves the Team Manager / Quality Manager on critical issues.
∎ Check production/QC files prior to handing them over to the QA department, conduct production meetings with the factories and QA team as per the allocated time and follow up with the factories on the progress of the orders.
