Job Context:
∎ Looking For : Merchandiser for knit & lingerie.
∎ Workplace Also randomly visit factory
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Be on site, sharing time factories
∎ Visits factory per week if necessary
∎ Production Follow up: He or She will have to carefully follow orders and make sure that suppliers will deliver the goods on time and in accordance with Buyers requirement and group quality and security standards.
∎ Receive from merchandising team 100% detailed tech packs: must raise any technical questions with merchandising team who will clarify with designers/buyers/Angelique
∎ Development-Purchasing/pricing: He or She will develop day wear collection based on buyers' requests and negotiate the best buying conditions with suppliers.
∎ Check the testing materials and trims used are according to the tech packs
∎ Proper idea for Fabric print & screen print.
∎ Submission the TRF for testing according to customer requirements.
∎ Should have knowledge for testing parameter & criteria for physical / chemical
∎ Sample follow up with sample section in details.
∎ If there is unplanned difficulties regarding construction, pattern, measurements while making sample, bring to the attention of merchandising team.
∎ Preparing the parcel to deliver the courier when necessary
∎ Check that finished sample as per customer requirements
∎ Weekly report (with pictures ) of styles in production
∎ Weekly report (with pictures) of styles in shipment
∎ Candidate should have be check the commercial documents/ BL/ REX, before make the final documents
∎ Secure the ETD candidate should be follow up the PO wise order per week
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 27 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Buying House
∎ Garments Factory
∎ Knowledge in different types of dyeing/Printing/ wash
∎ Strong communication skills in written & spoken English & Bengali
∎ Ability to work under pressure and in a goal driven environment
∎ Should have sound technical and analytical knowledge
∎ Strong team spirit and passionate.
∎ Demonstrate a solid understanding of the overall manufacturing process.
∎ Have a good appreciation of quality requirements and of control processes.
∎ Possess a high energy level, sense of urgency & the ability to work well under pressure and very organized
