Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering/Business Administration or a related field.
Candidates with professional supply chain certifications such as PGDSCM, CSCM will be given preference.
1–2 years’ experience in trims & accessories sourcing (garments/textile sector).
Strong knowledge of L/C procedures, costing, and inventory management.
Proven negotiation and supplier management skills.
Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
Receive procurement requisitions, analyze requirements, and justify specifications of accessories.
Monitor and evaluate trims & accessories as per Marketing/Buyer requirements.
Optimize sourcing procedures, maintain updated status reports, and ensure coordination with the Head of Merchandising.
Collect Proforma Invoices (PI) and proceed with L/C opening, ensuring compliance with budgetary control.
Maintain store inventory reports based on production requirements and stock levels.
Verify product development with Merchandising to ensure accurate sourcing against quality standards.
Collect competitive quotations, negotiate with suppliers, and secure management approval.
Source new products ensuring the right quality, at the right price, within the right lead time.
Ensure compliance in all sourcing activities with suppliers and company policies.
