Educational Requirements:
∎ Degree in pycho-social or related field essential

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Participate in the planning, organization and coordination of Mental Health activities, in close collaboration with the Mental Health Activity Manager and other medical team members, in order to ensure an efficient and effective implementation of the resources needed while maintaining high levels of quality in Mental Health MSF programs and activities.
∎ Coordinate activities of counseling services with other relevant actors and liaises with the local counterparts (like MoH, WHO, ICRC and NGO) on mental health matters, including referral services.
∎ Supervise the daily mental health activities and patient support according to MSF protocols and standards in order to provide the most appropriate support for clients with psycho social needs
∎ Liaise with the other MSF team members of the project.
∎ Supervise, in close coordination with the HR department, the associated processes (recruitment, training/induction, evaluation, potential detection, development and communication) of the staff under his/her responsibility in order to ensure both the sizing and the amount of knowledge required
∎ Oversee the administrative processes associated with psychosocial functioning.
∎ When needed, give psychological support to patients according to MSF protocols to improve mental health conditions of patients and enhance their functionality.
∎ Compile the data and statistic linked with MH activities and report to the MH activity manager
∎ Offer clinical counselling supervision to mental health counsellors in collaboration with the Mental Health Activity Manager.
∎ Ensure the patient's related information is kept confidential
∎ Ensure that the mental health activity and team works harmoniously and productively with the other parts of the medical activity - with a specific focus on the community health and community education, referral between mental heath and other activities
∎ Plan the trainings of the team (by Psychologist, prescribers or PSC), in view of the identified gaps.
∎ Develop creative and impactful psychosocial and psychoeducational activities aimed to improve the mental health of caregivers/patients. Ensure the accuracy, quality and continuity of the mental health messaging that are disseminated to the caregivers and hospital teams.
∎ Supervise and monitor activities of camp volunteers in the relevant camp.
∎ Organize training and regular meeting with the volunteer teams.
∎ Plan the yearly activity for the camp considering the mental health needs and gap.
∎ Oversee the administrative processes associated with psychosocial functioning of the team.
∎ Implement diagnosis, prescription and prevention procedures that fall under the scope of his/her competencies applying medical knowledge, asking appropriate questions to patients and following protocols in force as well as using laboratory services when necessary, in order to ensure a correct implementation of the medical treatments and to refer patients when appropriate.
∎ Actively promote and provide information on the availability of counselling services to caregivers as well as the hospital medical team.
∎ Ensure the smooth flow in the clinic.
∎ Carry any other allocated duty by the direct manager.
∎ Concerning pharmacy, ensure weekly inventory is done, pharmacy orders, to be the link between the department and the pharmacy. If needed, communicate directly with the pharmacy supervisor.
∎ Plan and oversee the work schedule of the MH Team in consultation with the MHAM

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 18 years
∎ At least 2 years' experience in mental health practice, specifically psycho-social counselling experience . Working in a humanitarian context as a mental health supervisor / psychologist with MSF or another NGO is desirable

Salary:
∎ Tk. 86338 - 103605 (Monthly)
∎ Salary according to level Eight (08) of the internal MSF salary grid (BDT 86338 Gross). 2 annual leave days per month worked. Medical insurance for employee and direct dependents
