·      Essential diploma in social sciences or education/public health/medical assistant. A bachelor’s degree and above is an asset

·     Essential 1 year working experience in MSF or health promotion related positions in other NGO/INGOs. MSF experience is preferred

·     Working experience as a supervisor is desired

·  Working experience in Goyalmara hospital area is an asset

·     Advanced level of English and Chittagonian is essential

·     Intermediate level of Rohingya is essential

·     Advanced level of Bengali is desired

· Advanced computer skill is essential (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Graphic design)



Responsibilities & Context:

Main Purpose:

In close collaboration with the HPCE Manager, implementing and supervising educational campaigns according to MSF values, standards, and procedures in order to increase awareness of the targeted population and to promote prevention and treatment of diseases in the project area.

MSF Section/Context Specific Accountabilities:

·       Organize, train and coach the Outreach Health Promotion team (CBTM and Host CHWs) based on the outcome of the of the skills assessments (gaps) to ensure the HP team is up to date with Health Promotion skills, methodologies and knowledge of the health education topics.

·       In collaboration with Line manager, coordinate and facilitate monthly male and female community leaders meeting in both camp and host community.

·       Assist in developing, producing, testing and distribution of health messages and IEC materials and make sure they are adapted and translated to the target populations.

·       Provide support supervision and on job training to both Host community team members and Team members in camp 16 with support from Team Leaders.

·       Prepare a monthly report showing the progress of the activities, an analysis of their impact, recommendations, and the programming of the following month. This monthly activity report will be sent to the HPCE Manager for further analysis and reporting in sitrep.

·       Ensure, in close collaboration with the medical team, the organization and implementation of different surveys at community level.

·       Ensure with his line Manager in collaboration with the epidemiologist and medical team the setup of Surveillance of communicable diseases and red flags and share promptly for action.

·       Ensure data accuracy and validity, including checking and validate questionnaires, block and camps total sheets with the surveillance team leader/supervisors

·       Cover for Facility based Supervisor when he is away on leave or other official engagement.

·       In collaboration with SRH team, support follow up missed appointment and other critical cases that need tracking and referrals back to care.

·       Organize meetings with key groups (women, men, youth and leaders) in both camp and host community to share SRH/SGBV related topics in safe spaces to promote access and reduce stigma in the community.

·       Periodically with the help of host and camp HP team members, conduct actors mapping including newly elected leaders and share information for database update.

·       Conduct Annual team appraisals and update roadmaps for the Team Leaders.

·       Perform any other task assigned by Line Manager when need arises.

·       Organize meetings with key groups (women, men, youth and leaders) in both camp and host community to share SRH/SGBV related topics in safe spaces to promote access and reduce stigma in the community.

·       Periodically with the help of host and camp HP team members, conduct actors mapping including newly elected leaders and share information for database update.

Job Other Benifits:

    •       Salary according to MSF salary grid (Level 7) BDT 95,000.
