Educational Requirements
Master's in Development Studies/ Business Administration/ Public Policy/ Economics/ Marketing/ Social Science/ International Development or any relevant discipline from any recognized educational institution.
Experience Requirements
Minimum 6 years of professional experience in partnership management, knowledge management, development programs, research, communications, or microfinance-related sectors.

Job Purpose
The purpose of this role is to lead strategic partnerships and knowledge management initiatives for DABI Microfinance to enhance program effectiveness and scale inclusive financial services, by fostering collaboration with key stakeholders, generating and translating evidence-based insights and field learnings into actionable strategies, and driving innovation and sustainable impact across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Partnership Development & Management:
Identify, develop, and maintain strategic partnerships with development agencies, donors, financial institutions, NGOs, research organizations, government bodies, and private sector stakeholders.
Support collaboration opportunities that align with DABI’s strategic priorities and innovation agenda.
Coordinate partnership discussions, meetings, MoUs, and collaborative initiatives.
Build long-term trust-based relationships with stakeholders through proactive engagement and regular communication.
Support resource mobilization efforts through partnership engagement and concept collaboration.
Knowledge Management & Organizational Learning:
Develop and implement knowledge management strategies, frameworks, and systems for capturing institutional learning.
Document best practices, success stories, field insights, case studies, and lessons learned from microfinance operations and pilot initiatives.
Facilitate knowledge-sharing platforms, workshops, learning sessions, and cross-functional collaboration.
Create repositories and systems for organizing and disseminating organizational knowledge and research outputs.
Promote a culture of continuous learning and evidence-based decision-making across teams.
Stakeholder Engagement & Representation:
Represent DABI Microfinance in relevant forums, workshops, conferences, and partnership meetings.
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure alignment between partnership activities and organizational objectives.
Strengthen collaboration among program, operations, communications, product, and monitoring teams.
Manage communication flow with external stakeholders to ensure timely information sharing and expectation management.
Support strategic visibility initiatives to position DABI as a thought leader in inclusive finance and development innovation.
Communication & Knowledge Dissemination:
Develop compelling storytelling and communication materials highlighting program impact, innovation, and customer experiences.
Prepare presentations, newsletters, donor updates, learning notes, and strategic communication content.
Simplify complex technical or operational information into accessible formats for diverse audiences.
Support internal communication initiatives that encourage knowledge exchange and institutional alignment.
Collaborate with communication and branding teams to ensure consistency in messaging and organizational positioning.
Monitoring, Reporting & Strategic Analysis:
Track partnership progress, collaboration outcomes, and knowledge management initiatives.
Develop dashboards, reports, and analytical summaries to support management decision-making.
Monitor key indicators related to partnership engagement, knowledge dissemination, and organizational learning.
Provide strategic recommendations based on emerging trends, field feedback, and ecosystem developments.
Support annual planning, reporting, and institutional strategy development processes.
SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
