Education:

Additional Requirements:

Experience :

  • Minimum of 1-2 years experience in a customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Previous experience with telephone communication or call center operations is highly desirable.

  • Friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • High level of integrity and commitment to patient care.
  • Reliable and punctual.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for long periods and use a headset.
  • Dexterity to operate computer and phone systems.

Additional Requirements:

  • Knowledge of medical terminology is advantageous.
  • Willingness to undergo additional training as required by the clinic.
  • May need to work in U.S. Eastern working hours in the office located in Bangladesh
  • Have to work in the office settings in the U.S Eastern Standard Time zone

  • Clear and professional phone etiquette.
  • Ability to listen actively and respond empathetically to patient inquiries.

2. Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in using phone systems and call center software.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Typing skills with a minimum speed of 35 words per minute.

3. Interpersonal Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Patience and ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently.

4. Organizational Skills:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in taking messages and scheduling appointments.

5. Problem-Solving Skills:

  • Ability to think critically and solve problems quickly and efficiently.

6. Language Skills:

  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, depending on the clinic's patient demographics.


Responsibilities & Context:
  • Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally.
  • Schedule medical appointments and provide patients with necessary information.
  • Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and issues, escalating when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of calls and patient interactions.
  • Collaborate with front desk staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Follow clinic protocols and guidelines for patient confidentiality and information security.
