Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Medical, Diploma in Nursing, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Nursing
∎ BMDC Registration must in need
∎ Training/ Trade Course: Training in IMCI and MhGAP is desirable

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:

∎ Key Result #1: Provide 24/7 Clinical care
∎ Provide direct clinical care, working closely with the clinical staff to ensure the delivery of high quality comprehensive primary healthcare services;
∎ Triage, screen and assess patients;
∎ Perform basic first aid and wound care;
∎ Perform any necessary neonatal and obstetric resuscitation activity;
∎ Identify survivors of sexual assault and refer them for registration, counselling, and care through the psychosocial and protection focal point on the mobile team;
∎ Deliver hygiene promotion, health education and patient/caregiver counselling;
∎ Ensure adherence to infection prevention and control measures;
∎ Treat patients according to standard treatment protocols;
∎ Ensure accurate recording of information in the clinic registers, and timely completion of summary reports;
∎ Ensure wards/clinic areas are appropriately stocked with essential equipment and supplies;
∎ Ensure patient confidentiality is respected, and that all consultations are conducted in a dignified and respectful manner;
∎ Provide mental and Psychosocial care
∎ Key Result #2: Coordination & Representation
∎ Develop and maintain effective working relationships with local communities and other implementing partners;
∎ Act as a representative at Camp level meetings in the absence of medical doctor.
∎ Key Result #3: Monitoring & Reporting
∎ Ensure all patient consultations are documented and patient records are completed;
∎ Submit daily reports in a timely manner;
∎ Ensure regular inventory and consumption tracking of medical drugs and supplies;
∎ Work with relevant staff to ensure prompt requesting of medical drugs and supplies.
∎ Key Result #4: Health Information and data management
∎ Oversee OPD data collection at health facilities utilizing data collected via facility-based registers and data collection tools;
∎ Analyze and review data with clinical staff identifying areas where services improvement is necessary.
