• Age 30 to 45 years

• 7+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in composites or advanced manufacturing.

• Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.

• Familiarity with composite manufacturing processes (e.g., layup, curing, trimming)

• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Job Context: 

AKH Knitting & Dyeing Ltd (AKDL) is a 100% Export Oriented Knit Composite Factory located at Hemayetpur, Savar and a sister concern of AKH Group. We are looking for a skilled and experienced Mechanical Manager. He will oversee the maintenance, reliability, and performance of mechanical systems and equipment used in composite material production includes managing preventive maintenance schedules, troubleshooting machinery, leading a team of technicians, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

 Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage mechanical maintenance operations across the factory floor.
• Supervise installation, calibration, and repair of composite processing equipment (e.g. Dyeing Machine, Finishing Machine, Generator, Boiler, ETP, WTP etc)
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, OSHA, and other relevant safety and quality standards.
• Manage spare parts inventory and procurement of mechanical components.
• Analyze mechanical failures and implement corrective actions.
• Train and mentor maintenance technicians and junior engineers.
• Support new equipment commissioning and factory expansion projects.
