• Applicants should have experience in operating and maintaining VRM and Roller Press in the cement industry.

Bashundhara Cement Industry is looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (VRM, Ball Mill & Roller Press) to oversee plant equipment maintenance, reduce downtime, optimize spares, lead condition monitoring (vibration analysis), and ensure smooth, safe operation of all mechanical systems.

Job Responsibilities -

1) Machine Condition Monitoring with Vibration Analysis

2) Supervise and monitor all Mechanical activities related to Mill Operation (VRM, Ball Mill & Roller Press) & maintenance.

3) Ensure good Maintenance Planning & execution with proper Auditing.

4) Responsible for reducing the downtime & Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF).

5) To prepare the Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly Maintenance Report & do the activity as per the Maintenance Schedule.

6) Check & confirm availability with Maintenance of Optimum stock levels of spare parts of all mechanical items for maintenance purposes

7) Responsible for ensuring better & smoother Operation of all the Equipment related to Ball Mill, including Compressor, Water Treatment Plant, Pay-loader by keeping in touch with proper Maintenance

8) Ensure immediate / Prompt response on emergency calls for all mechanical troubleshooting of Mill Operation (VRM, Ball Mill & Roller Press). 

9) Train up and provide guidelines to the subordinates for improving their skills, productivity & efficiency.

10) Supervise and ensure the housekeeping & cleanliness of the plant/machinery is maintained.
