Woven Merchandiser
Job Context:
∎ The major role of merchandiser is monitoring an order, first to last. Merchandiser also acts role to maintain accelerate the working execution speed.
∎ Planning and developing merchandising strategies. Collaborating with buyers, suppliers, distributors and analysts to negotiate prices, quantities and time-scales.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Must have very good knowledge of Buyer Zara Kids (Denim).
∎ Must have understanding of fabric terms (Knowledge of all types particularly Denim fabrics), consumption & order follow-up.
∎ Follow-up product development and ensure that products meet customers required quality.
∎ Should have adequate knowledge of Denim washing techniques.
∎ Should have merchandising knowledge on Denim and various Denim washes along with costing.
∎ Work with the garment technologists to ensure samples are accurate, reflective of each other and 95% right first time.
∎ Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
∎ Monitoring and sourcing complete sample, lab dips, accessories, trims from home & abroad and communicate with various suppliers to get the current price.
∎ Supervise and coordinate each and every aspect of the department.
∎ Ensure smooth merchandising operations.
