Position Summary
The Marketing Officer – Solar System Lead Generator will be responsible for identifying, developing, and generating potential sales leads for solar energy solutions, including rooftop solar systems, commercial solar systems, industrial solar projects, and renewable energy solutions. The role involves field marketing, client visits, digital lead generation, relationship building and coordination with the sales team to convert prospects into business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Business Development
Identify and generate potential customers for solar system installation projects.
Conduct market surveys to identify residential, commercial, and industrial prospects.
Develop and maintain a database of prospective clients.
Generate leads through field visits, networking, referrals, social media and digital platforms.
Arrange meetings between potential clients and the sales/technical team.
Follow up with prospects to ensure conversion opportunities.
Marketing Activities
Execute marketing campaigns for solar products and renewable energy solutions.
Promote company services through online and offline channels.
Participate in trade fairs, exhibitions, seminars and promotional events.
Distribute marketing materials and conduct awareness campaigns regarding solar energy benefits.
Assist in preparing marketing plans and promotional strategies.
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Understand customer requirements and coordinate with technical teams for solution support.
Respond to customer inquiries and provide initial project information.
Ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and follow-up.
Reporting & Documentation
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly lead generation reports.
Maintain records of customer interactions and lead status.
Update CRM/database with accurate customer information.
Submit market intelligence and competitor analysis reports.
Coordination
Coordinate with sales, engineering and project teams for smooth business operations.
Support proposal preparation and preliminary project discussions.
Assist management in achieving sales and marketing targets.
