Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Staff reportable to: Market Linkage Officer-Off-farm
∎ Staff maintain liaison with: Peer Educator, MEO, AAO and WFP Officials.
∎ Staff based at Kutubdia, Cox’s Bazar.
∎ Responsible for aggregation and sales centre facilitation.
∎ Receive training on data collection methods and data entry
∎ To collect data from the assigned market with assigned items, (weekly twice) as per project policy.
∎ Data collection, data entry and data editing
∎ Conduct Focus Group Discussion (FGD)
∎ Facilitate to conduct aggregation centre management committee meetings
∎ Capacity develops of LSP/Lead Farmers/Aggregators;
∎ Linkage develops between ACMC and representatives of govt. line departments at field level;
∎ Assist MLS/supervisor for progress and report
∎ Provide all types of necessary supports to the team.
∎ Willing to work in a team. AC on regular basis.
∎ Support farmers during transactions as per needs.
∎ Support farmers groups for market linkages;
∎ Travel the field site and visit AC as per needs.
∎ Any other tasks assigned by the superior.
∎ PROJECT: Market Linkage Promotion Project, WFP.
