Additional Requirements:
  • At least 10 years proven experience in maintenance, preferably in FMCG company.

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, automation, and industrial machinery.

  • Proficiency in CAD software for mechanical design and drafting.

  • Solid knowledge of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance methodologies.

  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical systems and identify root causes of failures.

  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.

  • Excellent project management skills.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

  • Should be self-driven, result oriented, hard working.

  • High level of professional integrity.



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for all mechanical equipment to minimize downtime, extend asset lifespan, and optimize performance.

  • Promptly diagnosis, Root cause analysis and resolve mechanical failures and breakdowns on production lines and utility equipment.

  • Identify opportunities to improve equipment efficiency, reliability, and performance through modifications, upgrades, and process adjustments.

  • Manage the inventory of critical spare parts, ensuring optimal stock levels to support maintenance activities and minimize production interruptions.

  • Design and develop mechanical systems, components, and layouts for new production lines, equipment, or modifications to existing ones.

  • Collaborate with production, quality, and other engineering teams to identify and implement improvements to manufacturing processes focusing on efficiency, quality and waste reduction;

  • Manage mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion, including scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and supervision of installation.

  • Ensure all mechanical systems and maintenance activities comply with applicable industry regulations, safety protocols and environmental standards.

  • Create and maintain accurate technical documentation, including equipment manuals, maintenance procedures (SOPs), technical reports, and design specifications.

  • Participate in and provide necessary documentation for internal and external audits related to safety, quality, and operational compliance.

  • Identify training needs for maintenance personnel and provide training on equipment operation, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting.

  • Keeping abreast of new technologies, materials, and best practices in mechanical engineering and FMCG manufacturing to drive innovation.
