Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Process gap identification & Scope of automation.
∎ System Performance Evaluation.
∎ Provide detailed performance reports with actionable insights.
∎ Assess and recommend upgrades for machines, software, and sensors.
∎ Prepare ROI calculations and justifications for capital investments.
∎ Work with finance and procurement teams to budget for upgrades.
∎ Lead technical vendor evaluations and proof-of-concept trialsPlan, conduct, and analyze DOE for process and system optimization.
∎ Support production trials with experimental setup and data analysis.
∎ Build simulations of processes and systems to test improvements virtually.
∎ Use tools such as Arena, Simul8, MATLAB, or AutoMod for modeling.
∎ Run sensitivity and stress analysis to predict system responses.
∎ Develop forward-looking strategies for adopting Industry 4.0 technologies.
∎ Analyze emerging trends in automation, AI, and machine learning applications.
∎ Drive pilot programs for smart factory initiatives.
∎ Coordinate between Automation, Maintenance, Quality, and OPEX teams.
∎ Act as the technical bridge between engineering, production, and management.
∎ Strategy of new process automation.
∎ Ensure systems and upgrades comply with safety and industry regulations.
∎ Create user manuals, SOPs, and training materials for automated systems.
