• Developing and implementing organization`s overall information Security strategy Ensuring that the organization`s information security policies and procedures comply with industry regulations and standards 

• Managing the organization`s information security budget Leading the information security team and ensuring that they have the necessary resources to perform their job duties Communicating with senior management and the board of directors about the organization`s information security posture 

• Manage and execute the day-to-day operations of the information security team Identifying and mitigating information security risks. 

• Ensuring that company`s data is protected using the most secure technologies available. This means you`ll have to keep up with new threats, vulnerabilities, and exploits as they emerge. Conducting security Audits and assessments Responding to security incidents and breaches. 

• Take corrective and preventive action if an employee breaks the policies or procedures. Understanding the security threats connected with various job functions is part of this. 

• Ensuring that the organization`s employees are trained on information security best practices Work together with IT Team to Manage and Supervise IT infrastructure as well as work towards improving the IPDC IT infrastructure in compliance with regulatory ICT Security Guideline. Keeping the infrastructure secure by supervising the IT auditing procedure (e.g., penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, etc.).

• Assess IT hardware requirements, perform vendors assessment, on-board vendors, and work with various vendors to ensure in-time delivery of any required hardware for ongoing or upcoming projects

• Coordinate and collaborate with BT team and external vendors for Project roll-out and implementation support regarding IT security related need

• Assist CTO in developing process/system architecture, process re-engineering to achieve a state-of-the-art infrastructure to support all strategic initiativesAnalyse technology industry and market trends to determine their potential impact on the solutionResponsible for both information and physical security of the organization`s IT infrastructure.

• Be aware of any potential harm the new threats may have on your network infrastructure and existing security procedures.  

• Analyse current IT environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement as per the ICT Policy and BB guideline.  

• Maintaining the security of all applications, networks, and systems that interact with the outside world. This involves ensuring that all third-party service providers are held to the same security standards as the internal users.
