Educational Requirements:
∎ A Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Textile/Apparel/Garment engineering)) from any reputed university

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Update and maintain the lab safety plan, manual & the SOP
∎ Perform a wide range of textile and garment tests, including fabric testing and garment testing
∎ Monitor overall functioning of core laboratories operation with respect to technical aspects
∎ Handle customer complaints or queries and proceed to resolution
∎ Conduct calibration of lab machinery as per company requirements
∎ Compile and maintain detailed reports summarizing test results, including data on quality, compliance, and performance metrics by overseeing all testing activities
∎ Supervise and lead the quality control team in their day-to-day tasks, ensuring the timely and accurate completion of quality inspections and testing
∎ Collaborate with stakeholders and other relevant departments to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of quality control processes
∎ Take immediate corrective actions to address quality issues, deviations, or non-compliance with quality standards and implement solutions
∎ Maintain comprehensive records of quality reports, statistical reviews, and all relevant documentation to support quality control efforts
∎ Supervise and train subordinates on quality control procedures, methodologies, and best practices to ensure they meet quality standards and achieve set targets

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ 5-8 years of experience in any textile lab is preferred
∎ Strong knowledge of testing standards (ISO, SATRA, ASTM, DIN) and quality control methodologies
∎ Familiarity with QMS, TQM, and AQL concepts
∎ Ability to implement new testing methods and automate processes (Manual to machine)
∎ Knowledge of process development and quality control processes of raw materials
∎ Should have knowledge of quality testing parameters and product safety
∎ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
