• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Group of Companies, IT Support Services

• Understanding of different retail equipment as POS/PC, Weigh Scale, Dot Matrix/ LaserJet Printer, Network (LAN & WAN), Router, Switch maintenance and CCTV.

• Knowledge of MS XP/Vista Professional, MS Office, MS Outlook, POS installation, configuration and troubleshooting of retail functions.

• Good negotiation and interpersonal skills.

• Candidate with same field experience will be preferred.

• Job Location: Head Office, Dhaka

Job Responsibilities

• Provide effective support in order to ensure uninterrupted video conferencing.

• Deliver prompt response during Laptop/PC installation & troubleshooting.

• Carry out activities associated with required email & network configuration.

• Provide effective support to IT Users in RRIEL as and when required to ensure smooth internal IT system management.

• Ensure optimum level of user satisfaction in terms of internal service providing.

• Perform all day-to-day activities related to hardware etc.

• Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications.

• Sound knowledge on endpoint security solutions, Firewall, LAN MAN WAN with Copper & fiber, Switching, Data backup, Microsoft Cloud Solutions, Microsoft Azure , outlook, mail system, switch, router, Optical network, IT security, DNS & DHCP etc.

• Maintain LAN and internet connectivity products and their installation and configuration.

• Clear knowledge about TCP/IP, DNS, Windows OS.

• Security Management including managing VPNs and firewalls.

• Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners

• Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults

• Monitoring hardware, software, and system performance metrics.

• Updating computer software. As well as upgrading hardware and systems.

• Maintaining databases and ensuring system security.

• Conduct electrical safety checks on computer equipment.

• Establish accounts for new users and assist with password or login problems.

• Keeping track of technological advancements and trends in IT support.

• Ensure proper maintenance of POS/PC, Weigh Scale, Dot Matrix/ LAN LaserJet Printer, Network (LAN & WAN), Router, Switch etc.

• Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of MS XP/Vista Professional, MS Office, MS SQL server, MS Outlook and POS etc.

• Must have knowledge about CCTV system & Biometric Attendance Device (Fingerprint & Facial Scan) will get preference.
