∎ We are seeking an experienced Manager
∎ Washing to take full responsibility for planning, coordinating, and ensuring the quality and timely delivery of all outsourced washing activities.
∎ The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of washing processes for woven bottoms and the ability to manage subcontracted washing units effectively.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Monitor and coordinate all washing activities at subcontract washing units.
∎ Ensure correct implementation of washing recipes, wash standards, and buyer requirements.
∎ Follow-up on wash samples, shade band approvals, and bulk washing timelines. Check quality at every stage – before wash, during wash trials, and after wash output.
∎ Conduct regular visits to subcontract washing units to oversee process control and troubleshooting.
∎ Communicate daily with washing factories regarding planning, production status, and delivery.
∎ Ensure all chemical and washing processes meet safety, compliance, and sustainability requirements.
∎ Work closely with the QA, Merchandising, and Production teams to align wash plans and solve issues. Maintain records of wash trials, defects, re-wash, rejections, and take necessary corrective actions.
∎ Track and ensure on-time delivery of washed garments to the finishing/packing section.
∎ Handle any buyer inspections or audits related to washing.
