Additional Requirements: Responsibilities & Context: - Lead the formulation and implementation of the group`s procurement strategies for both local and international operations.
- Oversee and streamline the procurement process for products and services from both local and international vendors, making sure that requirements of quality and affordability are met.
- Oversee discussions to obtain advantageous terms, prices, and contracts for the group`s procurement needs with both domestic and foreign suppliers.
- Oversee the process of finding and vetting new suppliers, completing in-depth evaluations of their qualifications, dependability, and regulatory compliance.
- Build and preserve solid ties with important suppliers to promote cooperation and advance efforts for continual development.
- Reduce the risks connected with overseas sourcing and to inform procurement decisions, analyze pricing dynamics, market trends, and geopolitical issues.
- Work together with cross-functional teams to meet operational needs and match procurement operations with business goals.
- Establish strong policies, processes, and controls for procurement to guarantee adherence to internal standards and legal obligations.
- Assess and choose the best tools and technologies for procurement in order to improve data-driven decision-making, efficiency, and transparency.
- Take corrective action for maximizing performance and fulfill your Key performance indicators (KPIs) .
- Take the lead in streamlining and standardizing the group`s procurement procedures and processes to increase productivity and shorten cycle times.
- Oversee the import/export procedure, which includes paperwork, customs clearance, and logistics planning for international buying.
- Evaluate adherence to contractual commitments, quality standards, and ethical business practices, conduct routine supplier performance reviews and audits.
- Create and oversee a high-achieving procurement team by offering direction, instruction, and chances for professional development to strengthen skills and promote career advancement.
- Keep up with new developments in the field, developing trends, and legislative changes that affect procurement proactively suggesting tactical modifications to preserve compliance and competitiveness.
