Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum graduation from any accredited and reputed university. Technical qualification in textile technology/Merchandising/Fashion Designing will be an added advantage.

Experience Requirements:
∎ 8 to 12 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Garments, Handling Buyer and Buying house

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Facilitate the technical team to improve quality in the areas of sewing and construction, fitting, pattern and grading
∎ Ensure the Technical team to evaluate and determine garment quality and fit in comparison to specification packages, measure garment, check construction and workmanship, screen out unacceptable samples.
∎ Supervise sample approval efficiency and drive for process improvement to reduce cost and enhance efficiency.
∎ Develop technical quality standard and SOP for new business strategy to meet upcoming challenges.
∎ Assist Country Manager to arrange and lead technical meetings with Factory management to resolve quality and fit problems.
∎ Assist Country Manager to join with QA department to tackle technical issues to ensure that Simple Approach delivers goods meeting set standard.
∎ Work closely with and give clear direction on corrections and requirements to supplier's technical teams in the development of styles to ensure the process is as efficient as possible.
∎ Work closely with the merchandise teams and suppliers in the development of new styles from Buyer's brief to pre-production status.
∎ Assess and approved garment submissions (proto, full size set, pre-production and shipment samples) and have good communication with suppliers, merchandisers and buyers on the results or action to be taken.
∎ Deal with all garment submissions in a timely manner to ensure the critical path for each style is maintained.
∎ Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
∎ Any other assignment assigned by the Management from time to time.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 37 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Strong technical skills in garment construction, fit, pattern making, grading and experience in approving fit samples, good people skills, especially in communication and good fashion sense. Should have excellent communications skills in both written and spoken English and Bengali. Should be proficient in the use of computer, especially MS Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Data Base Management, etc. Knowledge in web PDM and Illustrator software will be added advantage.
